What “Women-Led” Means Here

Founded and headed by a woman

Mayuri Shewale, E-RYT 500 with 15+ years of teaching, started the school and still leads every training batch personally.

Aerial yoga taught by women

The 50- and 100-hour aerial programmes are led by Mayuri and aerial specialist Priya Sharma, from rigging and safety to inversions.

Yoga Alliance registered

RYS 200, 300 and 500, plus YACEP continuing education. Our teachers’ credentials are public on the Yoga Alliance directory.

Small groups, consent-first teaching

Batches of 15–20 students. Hands-on adjustments are offered, never imposed, and you can decline them at any time.

If You Are Travelling Alone

Most of our students arrive on their own. Here is what that looks like in practice.

  • You live on the school campus in Tapovan, the international yoga quarter of Rishikesh, with the shala, dining and rooms in one place. Dormitories are gender-separate, so women share rooms only with women.
  • Female staff are on campus at all times, and the school has a written code of conduct covering teacher–student boundaries. Ask for it before you book.
  • Pickup from Dehradun airport or Delhi is arranged by the school before you land.
  • Your batch is international and mixed; most of our students come from Europe, the Americas, East Asia and Australia, and a majority are women.
  • The head teacher is a woman and on campus throughout your course. Ask her anything before you book.
