What the fee includes

A residential TTC fee in Rishikesh is a package, not a tuition fee. At Swaastik the 200-hour price covers:

Notice that the tiers are mostly about accommodation and comfort. The 200-hour syllabus is fixed by Yoga Alliance, and the RYT-200 certificate a $440 graduate receives is the same credential a $2,000 graduate receives. What varies is who teaches it and how many students share the teacher. The costs the fee does not cover

Flights to Delhi (DEL) or Dehradun (DED): usually the largest single expense.
Getting to Rishikesh: a taxi from Delhi is around ₹5,000–₹7,000 ($60–$85); from Dehradun airport ₹1,500–₹2,000 ($18–$25). Bus and train are cheaper.
Indian e-visa: $25–$80 depending on nationality and validity.
Travel insurance: typically $40–$120 for a month.
Yoga Alliance registration after you graduate: about $50 to register plus an annual fee of about $65, so roughly $115 in the first year. Only needed if you want the RYT-200 letters after your name.
Pocket money: ₹5,000–₹10,000 ($60–$120) for cafés, laundry, a local SIM and souvenirs is plenty for three weeks in Tapovan.

The remaining 90% is paid in cash or by card when you arrive, so you are never sending the full amount to a school you have not seen.
