Vrikshasana (Tree Pose): Improve Balance & Focus

Vrikshasana, or Tree Pose, is a balancing asana that replicates the steady stance of a tree. It teaches focus, stability, and grounding.

Vrikshasana Tree Pose

Steps for Vrikshasana

  1. Stand in Tadasana.
  2. Shift your weight to your left foot.
  3. Bend your right knee and place the sole of your right foot on your inner left thigh.
  4. Avoid placing the foot directly on the knee joint.
  5. Bring your hands to your chest in prayer position or raise them overhead.
  6. Fix your gaze on a point in front of you (Drishti).
  7. Hold for 30-60 seconds, then switch sides.
